I don't even know what this is. Some element of poetry, I believe.

It hurt.
The pain.
The guilt.
It didn't stop there, though.

The coursing. It grew further and further.
To the heart,
to the soul.
North,
south.

You're prey, here and there.
everywhere.
grief is
inescapable.
