~ ~ ~ Did ya notice? ~ ~ ~
Babyeh, did ya notice That you're my guiding light From the pit known as hell Shining light, oh glistening light
Oh babyeh, did ya notice how I treated you every day No matter the situation I always treated you right
Babyeh, I hope ya noticed Cause this would've been for naught All these non-ending attempts To steal your heart away
Babyeh, did ya notice My eternal love for you that shall never fade No matter what, my undying love Shall remain, even If I fade from this existence
Oh babyeh, You've got to notice I'll never leave your side Whatever cost it is, I'll gladly pay Only to be with you ever longer.

I really like the last one "the threads get shorter" is a perfect reference to the Greek myth that when someone dies a thread in the underworld has been cut...whether intentional or not, it made me think. I really like your poetry! Also: "Eternal blanket of darkness"... Human oblivion... Once again, Awesome writing!

~ ~ ~ Untitled ~ ~ ~ I'm lost, in this world of war. Endless killing, suffering, such agony. All of us suffer such things To serve our damn country.
I lay in this ditch, with my trusted rifle. Mourning for my fallen friends. They died for me, and our country. So much death, should I continue?
Maybe giving up everything would be best. No more suffering, death, perhaps. I can't keep going, the pain's too great. I could end this all with just one bullet.
Would my friends want that? Would my country want that? No, They'd want me to keep going And protect our great country.
I'll press on the attack, for my fallen friends I'll press on the enemy, for my commander I'll destroy their base, for my country. I'll keep going, and serve my country
For I am a soldier of USA Others don't understand what that means But I do, for I'm an american soldier I will protect and fight for my land, my pride, and my friends.
~ ~ ~ Untitled Ending ~ ~ ~
Now, at the ending of this poem/story/thingie.. I would just like to say, R.I.P for all those who died serving America.. God bless USA.. :3
